Network Mapping and Traffic Analysis using Nmap and Wireshark

In this project, I actively use Nmap and Wireshark to perform real-time network mapping and traffic analysis. By running Nmap scans, I map out networks, identify live hosts, and assess open ports, helping to uncover potential vulnerabilities. With Wireshark, I continuously capture and analyze network traffic to monitor protocol behaviors, identify anomalies, and gain insights into data flows.

Analyze Network Traffic with TCPDump

I actively use TCPDump to capture and analyze network traffic in real time. By leveraging this powerful command-line tool, I monitor data packets traversing the network, enabling me to identify network issues, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and detect suspicious activities. With TCPDump, I analyze traffic patterns, review packet-level details, and filter specific data streams to enhance my ability to assess network security and performance
